Baby Bump

Pregnancy is a gift not all get to experience, for different reasons, therefore having the blessing to carry a baby inside of us is nothing short of a miracle.

I assume, that you are reading because you are an expectant mother on "cloud nine" creating nursery boards on Pinterest while observing your growing baby bump. During pregnancy, you will probably have to experience a few not so pleasant changes along the way – bloating, fatigue, light spotting, and moodiness. Fun, right? Considering all these, expectant moms many times aren’t looking or feeling their best, and along with comparing ourselves to Insta-moms, it leaves us questioning whether we should even consider having a maternity photoshoot at all. 

Being a mother of two myself, and experiencing the above 1st hand, I have 2 things to suggests before making your final decision. Even if you feel like there's nothing on you worthy to be photographed you should still have your maternity pictures taken. 

Here are 2 things to consider:

1. You are creating something beautiful, and documenting it is well worth it. Believe me, you will definitely miss your sweet baby bump and you will never regret seeing those moments captured a year from now. 

2. Children grow fast and soon they will be out of your nest and create their own family.  Showing those pictures to their children will be beautiful, but most importantly your children will love seeing those pictures as they grow and this will reassure them of the love and excitement you both had for them from conception to now ( I get emotional writing this :) )

My job as a photographer is to be with you and help you and your partner feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Among other things, pictures portray feelings and emotions, how a couple feels plays a huge role in the final outcome.
